60V,1A POWER SUPPLY.

Posted by: nagasahitya on

Dear PI TEAM,

my power supply design specifications are,

                           Input voltage = 98V DC

                            output voltage = 60V

                            output current = 1A.

Isolation is required between Input & Output.so I selected TOP-SWITCH based fly-back topology. I want to use TL431 based secondary feedback. My doubt is at 60V output , the cathode-anode volage of TL431 is around 53V.but the maximum operating voltage of TL431 is 36V only.so plz suggest me how to protect TL431.

You can consider put a zener in serise with TL431 to share the 60V out put voltage.
