LNK418 and LYT4226

Posted by: MerzGmbh on

Hello,

we Design a LED-Driver for Streetlightning based on the RD290. But the EMI test are fail on the 11th Harmonic.

Now i use the "new" LYT4226 and the Harmonics are better. Not good but better.

I want test a new Transformer / Core. Can you explain me why i fail the 11th Harmonic? Is there a fault in the Calculation?

Attached Design.

Thx

The PIXLS value for the individual harmonic is an estimate based on LYT4 switching characteristics. It may vary depending on the EMI components you used.

Nevertheless, you can reduce the Kp value to improve the harmonic.
