core for led driver

Sir,
In most of the PI LED design reports, RM type cores are used. I would like to know what are the advantages of RM cores in the field of LEd drivers.

The transformer size needs to be minimized in LED driver application, and
RM core has larger effective area, Ae, than other type core.

The efficiency with RM core will be higher due to lower number of turns.
