driver lnk457 can replace lnk458

Posted by: valquiria lima on

I did the layout in software pi expert designed a driver with input 85-265V output 11V  / 0.9A (10W). The project included CI lnk457,  but in the datasheet that supports up to 8W. Can I replace it in my circuit by lnk458? I need to change the other components?

You can replace it with LNK-458 but you may need to change the transformer inductance. Please use PIXLS Designer 9 which is a separate program included in the PI Expert Suite so that you can determine which parameters you need to change when you use LNK-458.
