replacement of 1.1mH output inductor EE19 with “drum core / dog bone / I core” of same value inductance in DER172 (9.1 W LED Driver Buck Converter Using
LNK306PN),can we use pi input filter for universal output(85-265v ac).what are the changes to be done in der172 circuit for 85-265v ac design.
As shown in the attached PIXL file, the maximum output voltage will be 50V for 130 mA output current for universal input using LNK306. The input capacitor need to be changed to 47uF /400V also.
Also, it is critical to check the durm core inductor will not be saturated in circuit.
