LNK305 Layout

Is it recommended to put GROUND plane under LNK305D in multi layer board.
I have a 4 layer board in which LNK305D is used to generate 1.5W Power.
I intend to keep 2nd layer as GND ? is it OK to do so or i should go ahead with slandered suggested layout in datasheet.
Will the switching of LNK have any affect on GND plane underneath?

If the topology you are using is non-isolated, it's ok to have a wider GND plane but I would suggest to have 1mm distance from high voltages.
