Multiple output designe with galvanical isulateted windings

Posted by: AtomicDR7 on

Hello,
I have problems with the InnoSwoich CP 65W. The idea is to use single innoswtich with multiple output transformer, but the secondarys of the transformer must be galvanc isulated one from each other. So on the furst secondary winding I'm uisng Mosfet, but for the rest of the secondary windings I'm using fast recovery diodes. The voltage spikes and the ringings in the diodes are huge. For example, on 15V winding I measured 80V spikes. The idea of changing the diodes with shotky one, didn't make any difference. The Idea of putting powerfull doides is not exapltable. The diodes are 60V 3A shotky diodes. Putting snubbers for the diodes didn't work. The output current of each winding is 500mA.
So, have you ever make similar tests like my application? And, do you have any advice how to make it possible. The idea is to use the Innoswitch.
Kind regards

Hello AtomicDR7,

Could you please share your transformer design details and the schematic?
