HELLO,

IM BHARATH I AM USING INN3694C-H606-TL FOR MY 12W MULTI OUTPUT SMPS.

INPUT 150VDC -530VDC
OUTPUTS ARE 12V 6W
8V 4W
5V 2W

I AM TRYING TO REGULATE 12V OUTPUT ONLY AS ALL MY OUTPUTS ARE ISOLATED WITH DIFFERENT GROUNDS.

Q1) MY DOUBT IS I DO NOT WANT TO USE SYNCHRONOUS RECTIFICATION MOSFET AND I WOULD LIKE TO USE ULTRA FAST DIODES INSTEAD. IS IT POSSIBLE IN THE DESIGN?

IF POSSIBLE SHOULD I LEAVE SR PIN UNCONNECTED OR ANY OTHER MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED?

Q2) SIGNIFICANCE OF IS AND BPS PINS WHEN SYNCHRONOUS RECTIFICATION IS NOT USED?

Q3) WHAT IS THE ISOLATION VOLTAGE WITHSTANDING CAPABILITY OF INN3694C-H606-TL FROM SECONDARY TO PRIMARY?

Q1) MY DOUBT IS I DO NOT WANT TO USE SYNCHRONOUS RECTIFICATION MOSFET AND I WOULD LIKE TO USE ULTRA FAST DIODES INSTEAD. IS IT POSSIBLE IN THE DESIGN?
->It's possible to use ultra fast diode instead of SRFET. It will have disadvantage such as efficiency and thermals.
IF POSSIBLE SHOULD I LEAVE SR PIN UNCONNECTED OR ANY OTHER MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED?
->SR pin should be connected to GND if you will not use SRFET in your circuit.
Q2) SIGNIFICANCE OF IS AND BPS PINS WHEN SYNCHRONOUS RECTIFICATION IS NOT USED?
->BPS pin charges the capacitor connected to it. It's the main supply for the secondary circuitry of InnoSwitch. IS pin is used to limit output current and more useful as protection for over current scenarios.
Q3) WHAT IS THE ISOLATION VOLTAGE WITHSTANDING CAPABILITY OF INN3694C-H606-TL FROM SECONDARY TO PRIMARY?
->Based from datasheet, it has isolation voltage of >4000VAC (page1)
->Transient isolation voltage 6kV min (page20)
