Output Voltage rise time

Posted by: zedman on
I am struggling with the noise problem I mentoined in other posts, it seems I am getting somewhere with it but I encountered that sometimes the MCU in the powered circuit cannot reset correctly and won't boot up. I suppose the Vdd rise time maybe slow. Could anyone help how to increase it?

Rise time is a function of the output capacitor and energy stored in the inductor (delivered to the capacitor each switching cycle). Can you put a scope on the output and post the rise time?

Unfortunatelly I have just a old scope, it's unable to store. Should I try to play with the output capacitor's value?
