RDK-91 transformer

Posted by: OCR on

Question about RDK-91: The transformer used for this power supply is YW-360-02B by Yih-Hwa Enterprises or SNX-R1380 by Santronics. Is there a more common substitute I could use instead? Its ok if the shape is different. DiGikey sugests their part # 732-2250-ND, but the price on it is over $15 for quantity one. Could you sujest somthing more common in the lower price range?

Hi,

The transformer used in RDK - 91 is a pretty standard core PC40EE25-Z from TDK, and the bobbin is EE25, Vertical 10 pin from Yih-Hwa. They are already very common. If you need a good price, you could contact some other transformer manufacture directly instead the digikey, which basically only good for purchasing some test samples.

Hope this is helpful.
