Choosing Gap Length

I designed a power supply about 120W. Calculated Gap Length LG = 0.664mm
Transformer is EER35 and there is 2 option for gapped version of transformer
1)g = 0.50 ±0.05 mm
2)g = 1.00 ±0.05 mm
Which gap length is suitable for this conditions?
Thanks...
Are you using PI Expert for your design? If so you can use trhe Goal seek function and goal seek parameter LG to 0.5 by changing parameter KP.
The software will do whatever it takes to design with a gap of 0.5 mm. Most likely it will change your inductance (and so the number of turns) to allow you to use the 05 mm gap. As a result your peak primary current may change to compensate for the change in inductance value.
