Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a developer of a power-inverter for a 3-phase motor-drive. I am using the Scale-2-Driver for my IGBT'S. The gate-driver 2SC0435T supports short-circuit protection. With the resistor Rth the threshold can be set. The application recommends values about 68kOhms. However this value is for a short circuit. I want to protect the IGBT's against overcurrent. What if I use a resistor with a value of 10kOhm or 12kOhm? Would that make a problem?
