75W Led Driver

Hi,

I'm designing a 85-275VAC 18V/4.2A (75W) isolated, non-dimmable, CC led driver using LNK420.

1. Is RM10 core suitable for this design?

2. Can I prefer RDR-195 based schematic instead of RDR-290 because of the complexity?

3. If RDR-290 based schematic choosen, how should I configure the transformer and bias parts? I couldn't use the PI Expert for the RDR-290.

1. Is RM10 core suitable for this design?

    RM10 can be used for 75 W design, but the efficiency will be lower with higher number of turns

2. Can I prefer RDR-195 based schematic instead of RDR-290 because of the complexity?

     RDR 290 is recommended for 75 W design than RDR195 because RDR 290 has addressed several high power LED driver design issues, like EMI, output rectifer, etc.

3. If RDR-290 based schematic choosen, how should I configure the transformer and bias parts? I couldn't use the PI Expert for the RDR-290.
