Triac Dimming in - PWM 12VDC out

2 posts / 0 new

I'd like to know if any PI product can take the 120VAC output of a TRIAC dimmer in and provide

isolated 12V DC with ~250 Hz PWM dimming to a 12V LED lamp.(or parallel group of lamps)

Any hints on where to start would be appreciated.

Thanks

Please use LED Design Selector to choose an isolated, triac-dimmable driver design that is close to your Voltage and Current requirements. This gives you an idea on what schematic and components to use for a given form factor.

Most available designs don't have pwm dimming circuit. The file I attached provides a sample circuit for pwm to analog dimming.
